The art of basket making was developed at an early stage of man's evolution as containers for everyday life.

I use these ancient techniques to create what I like to call eye candy. The common thread woven through each piece is a touch of whimsy.

Mixed fibers are sewn and coiled around pine needles to form intricate patterns incorporating a mixture of wires, stones and beads.
